System Preservation has extensive experience with Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris Operating Systems. Although we find FreeBSD the easiest to manage and most robust system in the server environment, we work with all major flavors of the Unix operating systems out there.

Although we work largely with Windows Server environment for our current customers, we have found the FreeBSD platform to be exceptionally stable and capable. We utilize FreeBSD in combination with a large number of Open Source systems and applications internally.

Some of the major systems we use are Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, Squid, Snort, Nessus, OpenSSH, OpenLDAP, Samba, NFS, CVS, Subversion, Expect, Postfix, SpamAssasin, Eclipse, Cocoon, CherryPy, PHP, Plone, Zope, PostgreSQL, Perl, Jabber, Bugzilla.
